A: The Miss Wayne County Scholarship Pageant Program is pageant offering Wayne County's intelligent and talented young women an opportunity to earn scholarship money for college. As a "stepping stone" to the Miss Georgia and Miss America Pageants, the next Miss Wayne County will have the opportunity to compete at the state (and possibly the national) level for even more scholarships.

A: The scoring categories are exactly the same as the Miss Georgia and Miss America scoring categories. Contestants compete in Interview (30%), Talent (40%) Swimsuit (15%), and Eveningwear (15%) competitions.

A: The Junior Miss Wayne County category of the Miss Wayne County Scholarship Pageant Program is not a preliminary to the Miss Georgia and Miss America Pageants. Junior Miss Wayne County Contestants compete in Interview (30%), Talent (40%), Sportswear (15%), and Eveningwear (15%) competitions.

A: Miss Wayne County contestants must be between the ages of 17-24, must be unmarried and in school (either high school or college). Junior Miss Wayne County contestants must be between the ages of 13-16.
