The Miss Chandler & Miss Pecos Ranch pageant is an official preliminary to the Miss Arizona and Miss America pageants.

The Miss America Organization is one of the nation’s leading achievement programs and the world’s largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women. Last year, the Miss America Organization and its state and local organizations made
available more than $45 million in cash and scholarship assistance.

Miss Contestants

* Resident of Maricopa County or an East Valley city for at least six months prior to the Miss Chandler pageant or Registered as a full-time student OR employed full time (minimum 32 hours per week) in Maricopa County or an East Valley city for at least 6 months prior to the local competition OR employed part-time (minimum 16 hours per week) and attend school part-time (minimum 6 hours per week).
* High School graduate by June 23, 2007 or must have successfully completed the G.E.D. testing program by June 23, 2007.
* No younger than 17 at the time of the Miss Chandler pageant.
* No older than 24 by September 30, 2007.
* Female, never been married or pregnant.
* U.S. Citizen.
* Entrant must maintain the basis upon which she claims eligibility throughout the local and state competition.
